Exhibit about The Last Tsar Family

On the 21st of July, 2019 our Church hosted a photo exhibition as part of the Tsar’s Days celebration. This exhibition was dedicated to the family of the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II, as well as to the Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna.

Elizabeth Feodorovna Romanova is the patroness of our Sisterhood, celebrating the 5th anniversary of its foundation.

The exhibition was opened by the rector of our Church, the Reverend Father Maxim Abroskin, with honored guests, the Managing Director of Consulate General of the Russia in Toronto, as well as Consular Adviser Konstantin Sergeyevich Cherkasov.

The Days of Remembrance of the Holy Royal Martyrs began on the 16th of July, 2019 with the reading of a hymn and the liturgy in the chapel-monument, which is located in our Church. This chapel, was built in memory of the Royal Passion-Bearers and was opened last year, on the Day of the 100th anniversary of the execution of the Royal family.
Photographs for the Exhibition were provided by the Serbian community, with the participation of the Moscow Sretensky Monastery.
The exhibition will extend its work until August 18, 2019.
After the Divine Liturgy, everyone was invited to a festive meal organized by the Sisterhood of the church.
